Yellow Buses (Transdev) operate the 1C Service, which travels from Christchurch to Poole via Southbourne, Boscombe and Bournemouth. The buses operate about one every 20 minutes. You would need to ask for Hengistbury Head and if travelling from Christchurch or Bournemouth you would alight at the end of Broadway. During the school summer holidays from 22 July to 2 September the No. 12 Open Top Bus Service will be running between Christchurch and Sandbanks via Hengistbury Head, Boscombe Pier, Bournemouth Pier, Alum Chine, Branksome Chine and Canford Cliffs.
