0800 to 0900 Bird ringing - Christchurch Harbour Ornithological Group

0900 to 1030 Guided walk: Bird watching for beginners -- £1, free for under 16’s

1000 to 1500 Activities available throughout the day include:

Moth trapping : learn about the amazing variety of moths to be found at Hengistbury Head & how to catch them.
Pond dipping
Dragonfly making
Build a miniature Iron Age house
Treasure Hunt
Face Painting -- £1 per child
Drumming workshop -- 50p per person

1100 to 1200 Guided walk: The wildlife of Hengistbury Head -- £1, free for under 16’s

1400 to 1500 Guided walk: The history of Hengistbury Head -- £1, free for under 16’s

Where? All activities start at the Hengistbury Head Centre
Booking? No need to book any activities, just turn up
Parking? Please use the main car parks and walk over to the Centre
Cost? There will be a small charge for some activities: see programme
Children? Children must be accompanied by an adult
