A day of events & displays celebrating the wildlife & history of Bournemouth’s premier nature reserve

HENGISTBURY HEAD ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMER FESTIVAL 2009 was a big success.

With activities ranging from bird ringing to a cruise aboard an Iron Age dug out boat, from identifying over 40 species of moths to flint knapping and cave art painting, from pond dipping to tree bashing, adults and children had a great day!
