STUDENT PROJECTS
FAQs
Where
can I
get help with my project / dissertation?
There
are many projects taking place at Hengistbury Head - too many
for the staff to give individual attention. Therefore we have
made available information on the Supporter's Group Website
to help you. If you are doing a GCSE, A level, Degree or Postgraduate
study there are some publications to refer to.
Which
publications are useful?
For
most teachers / students we recommend the Hengistbury Head Management
Plan, a compilation of information gathered over the past 30
years. It describes the Geology, Ecology and Archaeology, Visitor
Surveys, Research and Monitoring as well as explanations of
the issues and problems and the plans for the future. It contains
a bibliography of papers and reports. There is also Hengistbury
- The Coast, a valuable resource if you are studying coastal
issues.
There is a variety of trails and colour booklets for informal
study and background reading.
Where
do I buy these publications?
Publications
are available from the Hengistbury Head Outdoor Education Centre,
The Broadway, Bournemouth, BH6 4EN.
