In
April 2006 some members of the community, with the help of the Hengistbury
Head staff, called a meeting of those interested in joining a group
who were interested in environmental projects, talks, practical
tasks and other events related to the Head. A Constitution was been
drawn up, which is on this website and a Committee elected.
We have been busy promoting membership and to encouraging everyone who cares about the Head to join and be involved in its future. All you have to do is complete the membership form which you can download here and return it with a cheque or cash (if returning in person) of only £3 per individual / family membership! Membership runs from June to May of each year and falls due after the AGM. Once you have joined we will keep you informed either by email or by newsletter of events and activities to which you will be most welcome. We are particularly keen to have a full age range of members so whether you have very young children or you are not in the first flush of youth you will be equally welcome! We do hope you will consider joining wherever you live and look forward to welcoming you as a member of the Hengistbury Head Supporters Group
